Mr. Bruner was a native of Nicholsville, Ky., where he was born August 29, 1863, the son of Greenberry and Nancy Hogan Bruner. He was the oldest of four children, and the death of his father threw the entire responsibility of the family on his shoulders when he was 14 years of age.

Mr. and Mrs. Bruner moved to Iowa from Idaho in 1925, making their home near Peru until moving to Truro three years ago. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary here last Oct. 17.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Poindexter of Rupert, Idaho, and Mrs. Mable Holden of Truro; a brother, Luther G. Bruner of Nowata, Okla., and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held last Saturday from the Christian church here, in charge of the Rev. Marguerite Shepard. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery.
