The death of Marion Trotter occurred in Casper, Wyo last Friday. Marion was a well known figure not only here but all over Custer County. Last fall, he and a son started west in a covered wagon and were supposed to be taking in a good deal of the west in their travels. No particulars of his death have been received here. He has made his home with a sister here for about ten years, and leaves three children: a boy and two girls, the girls now being in Iowa with friends. He was forty-three years old and had been in poor health for some time.

(my notes: Marion S. Trotter was s/o James A and Eliza J Harrington. He was b:May 1868 IA . He married my gg aunt Francis Etta Peacock on 24 Oct 1895 in Madison Co IA. After they seperated, Marion lived in Broken Bow, NE until his death in WY.)
