LUCINDA C. EIVINS DIES AT MACKSBURG

Funeral Services Were Held Sunday From Methodist Church There

Macksburg--(Special)--Miss Lucinda C. Eivins, member of a well-known family in this community, died at her home in Macksburg last Friday at the age of 77 years.

Miss Eivins was born in Schuyler county, Mo., on July 15, 1861, the daughter of John F. and Evaline Eivins. She came with her parents to Clarke county in this state as a child, later coming to Macksburg.

She united with the Methodist church at an early age, and attended services here as long as her health permitted.

She is survived by six brothers, James M. Eivins of Salem, S. Dak., John H. Eivins of Macksburg, Benjamin Eivins of Mullen, Neb., I. N. Eivins of Winterset, and Elmer C. and W. J. Eivins of Macksburg; and two sisters, Mrs. Sophrona Bates and Mrs. Alice Eivins of Macksburg.

Funeral services were held last Sunday from the Macksburg Methodist church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. M. D. Summerbell. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
