Prosperous Farmer Succumbs May 22 at Age of 63 Years
Macksburg--(Special)--Fred S. Bonham, a leading and prosperous farmer of this community for many years, died at his home in Macksburg on May 22. He was 63 years of age.
Mr. Bonham was born in Macksburg on May 5, 1876, the son of David and Byancy Bonham. He was married at Greenfield on Dec. 27, 1908, to Miss Carrie McKibben. They were the parents of a daughter, Wilma, who died in infancy.
He is survived by his wife; an adopted daughter, Helen Bonham; a sister, Mrs. Bertie Howe of Macksburg; and a nephew, C. D. Ross of California.
Funeral services were held from the Macksburg Methodist church on Wednesday of last week, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. M. D. Summerbell. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.

Funeral services for Fred S. Bonham, 63, who died Monday of last week at his home in Macksburg, were held at the Methodist church in Macksburg Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock, conducted by the Rev. M. D. Summerbell. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
Fred was the son of David and Byancy Bonham and was born at Macksburg May 5, 1876. He was united in marriage with Miss Carrie McKibben, December 27, 1908 in Greenfield. To this union was born one daughter, Wilma, who died in infancy.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Bonham; one adopted daughter; one sister, Mrs. Bertie Rowe of Macksburg; one nephew, C. D. Moss of California and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter; one brother, Alexander Bonham who died in 1927; two sisters, Ella Bonham who died in infancy and Mrs. Jenni Moss who died in 1894.
