MRS. ELLEN NICHOLS MALCOLM DIES AT LOS ANGELES, CAL.

Mrs. Ellen Nichols Malcolm, former well known Winterset resident, died at her home in Los Angeles, Cal., Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the age of 78 years. Mrs. Malcolm had been an invalid for a number of years.

Mrs. Malcolm was raised here in Winterset and her father at one time owned a shoe store on the north side of the square. Following the death of her parents she was married to the Rev. J. Henry Malcolm, a Presbyterian minister. They left Winterset for California about thirty years ago.
