MRS. RUBY SCHROEDER DIED HERE SUNDAY

Mrs. Ruby D. Schroeder of Winterset died Sunday, May 22, at Memorial hospital here. She was 76 years of age.

Mrs. Schroeder was a native of Washington, Kans., where she was born June 22, 1893, a daughter of Robert and Emma Poe Deering.

Her husband, Peter N. Schroeder, died in 1953. She is survived by a brother, Verne Deering of San Marino, California; and a sister, Mrs. Grace Ward of Seattle, Washington.

Funeral services will be held this Wednesday at 7 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. John C. Porath, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial will be made in Quincy, Illinois.
