J. W. FOREMAN, FORMER RESIDENT DIED JULY 4

Truro--(Special)--July 17th---

Funeral services for J. W. Foreman, well known Clarke county farmer and carpenter, were held Friday at the Church of the Brethren in Osceola, conducted by the Rev. J. D. Brower. Interment was made in the Maple Hill cemetery.

He passed away in the Osceola hospital July 4.

John Wesley, the son of Jacob and Mary Foreman, was born near Truro, Sept. 1, 1873, and passed away at an Osceola hospital July 4, 1939, aged 65 years, 10 months and 3 days.

He was united in marriage to Dollie Stemen, Feb. 2, 1898. To this union were born six children: Mrs. Elsie Byerly, of Victor, Ia., Mrs. Grace Lingle, Frank and Clarence of Osceola, Leslie and Lonnie of Los Angeles, Cal. All were present at the funeral.

Besides his wife and children he leaves ten grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. Short services were held at the home.
