DEATHS TAKES MOTHER OF LOCAL RESIDENT

Mrs. Nellie McClelland, a former Boone resident who has been residing recently in Guthrie Center, with a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Silletto, died there Monday morning. Mrs. McClelland had been in poor health for several years, but died in her sleep.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Silletto and Mrs. Stanley A. Johnson of Winterset, and a son, Harold McClelland of San Diego, Calif. she also leaves six grandchildren, three sisters, and one brother. Her husband preceded her in death 20 years ago.

Funeral services will be held at the Koch Funeral home in Guthrie Center, Thursday, Oct. 22 at 1:30 p.m. and burial will be made in the Boone cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson have been driving back and forth to Guthrie Center each day this week.
