CURTIS EUGENE LENZE

Just eight short years and five months ago on October 3, 1944, Curtis Eugene Lenze was born on a farm in Dallas county to Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Lenze Jr. On March 21st, 1953 at the Wilden hospital, after nearly a month of illness, Curtis left this life to take his place in that Eternal City.

Curtis was a very active boy before he became sick. He loved life and activity; he was a leader of the boys his own age. His passing will leave a vacant spot in the hearts of many that will never be filled.

He leaves to mourn his passing; his mother, Carol Lenze, his father, Charles (Bill) Lenze; two brothers, Melvin and Billy; two sisters, Charlotte and Connie, and a sister-in-law, Mildred; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Coffin of Adel, Iowa and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lenze of Earlham, many aunts and uncles, and cousins, his classmates of the third grace at Earlham Consolidated school and his teacher, Miss Sandholm, a host of friends and his Minister.
