Later he purchased a farm in Madison county and lived there until 1860 to the time of his death.
In the passing away of grandfather Lynch, St. Patrick's parish has lost one of their honored and respected citizens, as he was a man of many rare qualities endearing himself to all those with whom he came in contact. He will be sadly missed in his home and in the neighborhood where he was well known as a fond father, dear friend and kind neighbor.
The funeral took place on St. Patrick's day at 10 o'clock. Rev. Father Dugan celebrated mass and paid a glowing tribute to the deceased. The pall bearers were his six grandsons.
Note:Burial was made in St. Patrick's cemetery.
