Andrew J. Rollstin

Andrew Jackson Rollstin was born in Guernsey county, Ohio, Jan. 3, 1833 and died Jan. 9, 1916, aged 83 years and 6 days.

He came to Madison county with his two brothers, Porter and Samuel in 1857 and was married to Mary James Feb. 16, 1860. To this union were born seven children, five sons and two daughters, James E., William P., Orville D., Leston W., Preston G., Alice E., who died at the age of 23 years and Mida M., who died at the age of 18 years.

Mr. Rollstin was converted and united with the Baptist church of Winterset at the age of thirty-eight years and remained a faithful member. He was a devoted husband and a loving father.
