4-YEAR-OLD GIRL FATALLY BURNED

Evelyn Ann Mosby Died on Sunday at Creston Hospital

Evelyn Ann Mosby, 4-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Q. Mosby of near Creston, died at the Creston hospital Sunday, 22 hours after having been fatally burned when a can of tractor fuel exploded in the kitchen of a neighbor's home.

The little girl was playing at the neighbors' home north of Creston when the fatal accident occurred.

The child was born near Winterset, where her parents lived for many years, on Jan. 20, 1945. The family moved to Creston three years ago.

She is survived by her parents; two sisters, Darlene and Virginia; two brothers, Andrew and Robert; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pinckney of Macksburg.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Hill of Zion church, conducted by the Rev. Jay Hazel. Burial was made in the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
