MRS. A. W. CONNELL OF GREENFIELD DIES

Mrs. A. W. Connell of Greenfield died at the Adair County hospital, early Tuesday morning, January 12th, after an extended illness. Mrs. Connell, who is the mother of Mrs. Wendel Nelson, of Winterset, had received treatment in the Madison county Memorial hospital for a heart condition last year, and had been taken to her home in Greenfield. She again became ill several weeks ago, and died at the age of 70 years.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Connell is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Nelson, and a son, Max Connell of Des Moines, four grandchildren and several sisters.

Funeral services will be held at the Beckford Murray funeral home at 2:00p.m. Thursday, January 14th. Burial will be in the Greenfield cemetery.
