Wednesday, November 6, 1953DR. W. F. CARVER OF FORT DODGE DIES
Dr. W. F. Caver, a native of Madison county who became a prominent medical specialist in Fort Dodge, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Lutheran hospital in that city. Doctor Carver was 83 years of age, and had been retired in recent years.
Doctor Carver was born and spent his early life near Truro. He had practiced medicine in Fort Dodge for 41 years, specializing in eye, ear, nose and throat.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Roger S. Anderson of Seattle, Wash.; a son, Dr. W. F. Carver Jr. of Hollywood, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Newton Carver of Ensign, Kan. and A. B. Carver of St. Charles.
Funeral services were held last Friday from Bruce’s Funeral home in Fort Dodge.
