Heart Attack Tuesday Fatal to Former Resident of Winterset
Clarence Scott, a well known Winterset resident for most of his life, died Tuesday at Colorado Springs, Colo., where he had lived in recent years.
Death was caused by a heart attack, according to word received by Winterset friends. He was near 50 years of age.
Mr. Scott was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Scott, and he lived all his life in this community, until moving to Colorado about 10 years ago, because of his health. He had been living there with his sister, Grace Scott.
During his residence here he was employed at the Seidler grocery, and the Rock Island depot. He had been working for M. Young and company for many years when he left Winterset.
Funeral services were to be held at Colorado Springs.
