S. A. WEIDMAN OF WINTERSET DIES

Winterset Resident Last Three Years Was 72 Years of Age

S. A. Weidman, a resident of Winterset for the last three years, died at the Peterson Nursing home here Tuesday evening. He had been returned here the preceding day from the Lutheran hospital in Des Moines, where he had been a patient for two weeks.

Mr. Weidman was 72 years of age. He was the father of Blair Weidman, Winterset merchant. Most of his life had been spent at Ellsworth, Kan., and at Kansas City, Mo., before coming to Winterset.

In addition to the son here, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Rex Purscell of Hyde Park, Long Island, New York, and another son, Herbert Weidman of Kansas City.

Plans were being made to take the body to Ellsworth for funeral services and burial.
