CHARLES WILDS, 67, DIED HERE LAST WEEK

Had Moved to Winterset From Dexter About 18 Months Ago

Charles Wilds, who had lived on a farm southwest of Winterset about 18 months, died at his home there Monday, Sept. 5. He was 67 years of age, and had suffered a stroke five days prior to his death.

Mr. Wilds was a native of New Ponset, Ill., but had spent most of his life in Iowa. For 30 years he engaged in the automobile business at Corydon, moving from there to Dexter where he conducted a clothing store for two years. He moved from there to the farm near Winterset.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Harry Wilds of Chicago and Forrest Wilds of Great Lakes, Ill.; and three daughters, Mrs. Frank Wells and Mrs. Tom Stanfel of Des Moines and Mrs. John Hunt of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Sept. 6 from the Wolf Funeral home at Corydon and burial was made in the cemetery there.
