Wednesday, February 9, 1972Services Held Today for SCOTT SWISHER
Services for Scott Swisher, 52, Iowa City lawyer who served five terms in the Iowa House of Representatives, will be held this afternoon, Wednesday, at 3:30 at the George L. Gay Funeral Home in Iowa City.
Mr. Swisher died Sunday at University Hospitals where he was taken after suffering a heart attack at his home.
An Iowa City native, Mr. Swisher received a bachelor or arts degree from the University of Iowa and also was a graduate of the university's college of law.
Survivors include his wife, the former Nancy Ilgenfritz, a son Scott and a daughter Sarah both at home and a brother Robert of Cedar Rapids.
Dr. and Mrs. H. F. Ilgenfritz and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Ilgenfritz of Des Moines went to Iowa City Sunday afternoon to be with their daughter and sister.
