MRS. DRUSILLA COLLINS DIED JAN. 24 AT TRURO

Life-Time Resident There Was 84 Years of Age

Truro--(Special)--Mrs. Drusilla M. Collins, life-long resident of this community, died here Monday, Jan. 24 at the age of 84 years.

Mrs. Collins was the former Drusilla Mae Bradshaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Bradshaw, and was born east of Truro Nov. 26, 1864.

She was married to Anderson E. Collins on Aug. 30, 1886. His death occurred in 1935.

She had been a member of the Truro Christian church for many years.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Cushing; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; all of Detroit, Mich.

Funeral services were held Wednesday of last week in charge of the Rev. Frederick Cooper, and burial was made in the Hartman cemetery here.

Mrs. May Collins

Drusilla May Bradshaw, daughter of John Wesley and Peree Bradshaw, was born in Truro on Nov. 26, 1864 and passed away in Truro, Jan. 26, 1949, at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 29 days. She was united in marriage to Anderson E. Collins Aug. 30, 1886, who preceded her in death September 8, 1935. Her entire life was spent in this community.

In her early life she united with the Ohio Baptist church near Truro, later transferring her membership to the Truro Christian church of which she was a staunch and devoted member until the time of her death. She leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Cushing; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of Detroit, Mich., and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held from the Kale funeral home Wednesday, Jan. 26, 1949, conducted by Rev. Frederick Cooper, and interment was made in the Hartman cemetery.
