MRS. THOMAS GRABEEL BURIED THURSDAY

Had Spent Most of Life In Madison and Union Counties

Mrs. Thomas Grabeel. a resident of Madison county most of her life, died Monday, Feb. 14 at the age of 65 years.

Mrs. Grabeel was the former Minnie Weeks, daughter of George and Almyra Jeffers Weeks, and was born July 7, 1883, in Monroe township.

As a young woman she was married to Thomas E. Grabeel. They were the parents of five children, all of whom survive. They are: Mrs. Roxie Clarkson of Winterset, Mrs. Thelda Hutchison of Ash Grove, Mo., Finley Grabeel, Mrs. Hazel Werremeyer and Ramsey Grabeel of Everton, Mo.

In addition to the children she leaves her husband; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Weeks of Loveland, Colo., and Bert Weeks of Macksburg; and three sisters, Mrs. Clara Smith and Mrs. Almyra Nicholson of Winterset and Mrs. Mary Dimock of Rocky Ford, Colo.

Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Anderson Home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. I. E. Kinkletter. Burial was made in the Hamblin cemetery.
