Robert "Bob" D. Rudolf, 62, of Peru, Iowa died Thursday, February 15, 2007, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 19, at Ochiltree Funeral Service and Aftercare in Winterset. A visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m., Sunday, February 18, at Ochiltree Funeral Service, where the family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Mr. Rudolf's family.
Bob was born August 18, 1944, the son of Frank and Eletha (DeBord) Rudolf.
He most recently worked for Cretex Concrete Products in West Des Moines as a pre-cast applicator. He was a member of the union and also had volunteered on the Peru Fire Department. Bob enjoyed mule jumping, watching stock car racing, horses, his dog, George and especially watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a great father and grandfather to all of his kids and was a friend to anyone he met.
Bob is survived by his common-law wife, Pam Kallestad of Peru; children, Troy Rudolf of Winterset; Jennifer Wishmeyer of Missouri, Robert (Wendy) France, Jr. of St. Paul, MN, John (Mayeth) France of Jacksonville, FL, and Greg (Thu) Wishmeyer of Winterset; siblings, Doris (Larry) Tracy of Clive, Helen Allsup of Melrose, Diane (Merle) Pottorff of Truro, Craig (Judy) Rudolf of Peru, Debbie (Ron) Hager of Winterset; 13 grandchildren, Nicole, Brittany, Jerrad, and Loralie Rudolf, Jomarie and Jamie France, Jaymart and Kimberly Deleon, Jessica and Christian Wishmeyer, Junghsin and Yuhsin Hsu, Todd Reilly France; aunts and uncles, Gene (Ruth) Rudolf of Des Moines and Barbara (Leon) Baumier of Waterloo; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Michelle Rene Rudolf and Todd France; brother, Frank Rudolf, Jr.; sister, Judith Rudolf; and brother-in-law, Robert Allsup.

Robert “Bob” D. Rudolf, 62, of Peru died Feb. 15, 2007, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 19, at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset. Burial was at Jefferson-Goar Cemetery, Jefferson Township, Madison County.
Bob Rudolf was born Aug. 18, 1944, to Frank and Eletha (DeBord) Rudolf. He most recently worked for Cretex Concrete Products in West Des Moines as a precast applicator. Bob was a member of the union and had been a Peru Fire Department volunteer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Michelle Rene Rudolf and Todd France; a brother, Frank Rudolf Jr.; and a sister, Judith Rudolf.
