Winterset, IowaMRS. ETTA TRINDLE DIED ON WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Etta Trindle, a well known resident of Jefferson township for many years, died this Wednesday at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 87 years of age.
Mrs. Trindle was the widow of the late Sanford E. Trindle, whose death occurred in 1936.
She leaves four children: Eldon Trindle of Des Moines, Herschel Trindle of Van Meter, Don Trindle of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and Fred Trindle of Adel.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed as the Madisonian went to press.

Services Held at Union Chapel, Burial at Van Meter

Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the United Brethren church in Van Meter for Mrs. Clara Etta Trindle, 87. Burial was made in the Union Chapel cemetery at Van Meter.
Mrs. Trindle died of a heart attack at the Madison county Memorial hospital on Tuesday, April 3. She had lived 52 years on the same farm near Van Meter.
She is survived by four sons, Eldon A. of Des Moines, Herschel and Fred of Van Meter, and Donald of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and a brother, Artie Shultz of Des Moines.
Mrs. Trindle was born on May 18, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shultz of Jefferson township. Her husband, Sanford Trindle, died in 1936.
