Thursday, August 17, 1933DEATH OF A. N. SAWHILL
A. N. Sawhill, former resident of Madison county, but who recently lived near Seibert, Colorado, fell from a windmill, Friday, July 28th and died shortly afterwards.
Mr. Sawhill who was 77 years of age was born in Washington county, near Claysville, Pennsylvania. In February 17, 1878, he was married to Martha Ellen Weaver of La Grange, Illinois.
They are the parents of eight children, who with the mother survive him; Mrs. George Benton, St. Joseph, Missouri; Mrs. William Ogburn, Corning; William A. Sawhill, Truro; Benjamin, Seibert; Albert E., Des Moines; Agie L., Vona Colorado; Mrs. Edward Wolf, Brighton, Colorado, and Mrs. Lester Yents, Vona, Colorado.
The family moved to Seibert, Colorado in 1907 and that community has since been their home. He also leaves two brothers and two sisters, Lewis H. Sawhill of Boulder, Colorado, John T. of Truro, Mrs. Mary E. Perkins, Poplar Bluffs, Missouri and Mrs. Martha A. Fenimore of Peru.
The funeral was held Sunday, July 30th at the Seibert church and burial was made in the Vona Cemetery.
