FUNERAL SERVICES FOR LOUIS BURGUS

Louis Burgus, a resident of Madison county for half a century, died Monaday, Nov. 7, at a nursing home in St. Charles, where he had been a patient for three years. He was 83 years of age.

Mr. Burgus was born in Clarke county on Sept. 1, 1877, a son of Charles and Elizabeth Ries Burgus.
His life was spent in farming.

He never married and nearest surviving relatives are a brother, Earnest Burgus of Murray, and two sisters, Mrs. Frank Morgan of Murray and Mrs. John Devine of Truro.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Kale Funeral home at Truro, in charge of the Rev. Dale Lockart. Burial was made in Union cemetery in Clarke county.
