Wednesday, , May 4, 1960HERMAN R. MILLER OF NEAR LORIMOR DIES
Herman R. Miller, whose death occurred April 15 at Memorial hospital in Winterset, had lived on a farm north of Lorimor for the last 24 years. He was 75 years of age.
Mr. Miller was born near Ouerfort, Germany, on Oct. 12, 1884, a son of Herman A and Frederika Miller. He came to America as a young man and lived near Greenfield and Fontanelle before moving to the Lorimor area.
He was married June 30, 1911, at Henderson, Ky., to Frenzie Mangels. She preceded him in death.
Mr. Miller was a life-long member of the Lutheran church.
He saves three sons, Herman Miller of Denver, Colo., Ernest and Elmer Miller of Peru; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Anderson of near Lorimor; eight grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Elsa Lilly of Orient and Mrs. Anna Shad of Fontanelle.
