JESSE F. FURROW DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Funeral services were held at Mullen, Nebr., on Oct. 3 for Jesse F. Furrow, a native of Madison county, who died at Woodland, Calif., on Sept. 27.

Mr. Furrow was 74 years of age at his death. He was born in Madison county Dec. 5, 1867, a son of Jesse J. and Nancy C. Furrow.

He was married at Winterset Feb. 27, 1907, to Myrtle V. Beem. They were the parents of two daughters. They moved to Seneca, Nebr., in 1910, then homesteaded near Mullen, Nebr., in 1911. Since the death of his wife in 1939, he had been making his home with his daughters.

Surviving are the two daughters, Mrs. James Pitcher of Alliance, Nebr., and Mrs. Alfred Matthews of Woodland, Calif; three grandchildren;--------
