MRS. FERN PITCHER DIES IN NEBRASKA

Mrs. Fern Pitcher, a native of Madison county, died Sunday, Oct. 14 at Alliance, Nebr., according to word received here this week.

Mrs. Pitcher's death occurred just three weeks after the death of her father, Jess Furrow, in California. She was 44 years of age, and had been in the hospital for four months.

Mrs. Pitcher moved to Nebraska with her parents leaving Madison county when she was four years of age. She is survived by her husband, Jim Pitcher of Alliance; and a sister, Mrs. Alfred Mathews of Woodland, Calif.

Funeral services and burial were held Oct. 17 at Alliance.
