Joseph H. Cook was born in Clarke county, Iowa, March 27, 1857 on the Thomas Cook farm near Union church and died at his home near Truro, Saturday, August 19, 1933.
He was united in marriage to Catherine Baker, July 28, 1915.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, four sons, by a former marriage, George, Horace, Dell and Fred Cook, living in Los Angeles, California. Three sisters, Mrs. Layton of Creston, Mrs. Shoemaker and Mrs. S. S. Saint of Lyons, Kansas.
