JOHN LORENZEN PASSES AT TRURO

Long-Time Resident Died at His Home There Last Wednesday

John Lorenzen, a life-long resident of Madison county, except for a few years in Minnesota, died last Wednesday, May 12 at his home near Truro. He was 65 years of age.

Mr. Lorenzen was born at Patterson July 20, 1882, the son of Fritz and Francis Lorenzen. The first 19 years of his life were spent in that community, with the exception of a few years in Minnesota.

He was married in 1906 to Ella Barnes of Peru, who survives him. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Henriksen of Watertown, Minn.; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Nora Lorimor of Des Moines, and Mrs. Della Tilp of Gowrie.

Funeral services were held from the Kale funeral home at Truro, and burial was made in the Ebeneezer cemetery.
