Harold William (Jerry) Moore, 84, of Winterset died Nov. 29, 1994 at the Community Care Center in Winterset. Funeral services were Dec. 3 at the Dexter United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jill Flyr of Dexter United Methodist Church and Elder Kenneth Yourstone of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiated the ceremony with burial at the Dexter Cemetery.

He was born in Dexter on Oct. 13, 1910 to William R. and Essie (Leeper) Moore. He married Jane Cuff on Dec. 7, 1944. He had lived in Dexter for most of his life. He was a retired writer and filmmaker and an Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Surviving relatives include one daughter, Robin Pulskamp and husband Rick of Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, Barry Moore and wife Cyndi of Dexter, one sister, Mable Moore of Winterset and five grandchildren.
