JOHN E. BLOSSER DIED LAST FRIDAY

Well-Known Patterson Man Moved to Winterset Last Year

John E. Blosser, member of a family long well known in the Patterson community, died last Friday, April 28 at his home in Winterset. He was 77 years of age.

Mr. Blosser and his sister, Effie E. Blosser, had been living in Winterset, since last June, when last year's tornado wrecked their home east of Patterson.

Mr. Blosser was the son of Christian H. and Martha Blosser, and was born near Patterson on Sept. 28, 1870.

Only surviving member of his immediate family is the sister, Effie Blosser.

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home here, in carge of the Rev. W. P. Gordon, pastor of the Winterset United Presbyterian church. Burial was made in the Mt. Pelier cemetery near Patterson.
