St. Charles--(Special)--Relatives here recently received word of the death of Mrs. Fred Attig at her home in Murphysboro, Ill., after a long illness.
Before her marriage, Mrs. Attig was Miss Velva Bishop, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Bishop of St. Charles. She grew to womanhood near St. Charles, but left here a number of years ago to live in Illinois.
She leaves her husband and several grown children, besides brothers and sisters. A sister, Mrs. Alva Miller, lives in Winterset, and a brother, Burdeen Bishop, is in Osceola.
