SHERMAN PENDER OF WINTERSET DIES

Sherman Pender, a long-time resident of Madison county died at Memorial hospital in Winterset Friday, April 19. His home had been in Winterset for many years.

Mr. Pender was 69 years of age. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Pender. At his death there were no near surviving relatives.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Fred S. Boyce, pastor of the St. Paul Lutheran church. Burial was made in the Primitive Baptist cemetery.
