Mrs. Eva Patton’s Death is Reported

Mrs. Eva L. Patton, a former resident of Winterset, died Dec 3 at Sunset Home in Quincy, Ill., where she had been cared for the last 10 years of her life. She was 74 years of age.

Mrs. Patton was the former Eva L. Snyder, and was born in Schuyler county, Illinois, on June 22, 1882. Her early life was spent in that community. She was married to Hugh G. Patton of Winterset on Oct. 24, 1924. His death occurred in 1932.

She reared in her home three nephews, Delbert Snyder of Bell, Calif., Lloyd Snyder of East Moline, Ill., and George Snyder of Iowa City.

She leaves a brother Lee E. Snyder, two half sisters and three half brothers, in addition to several nieces and nephews.
