Funeral services for Mildred Verlene Beaman were held at the Church of Christ in Winterset, Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock conducted by the Rev. A. R. Weed. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
Mildren Verlene was eighteen years of age at the time of her death, which came suddenly Saturday, November 1st. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oral Beaman, two brothers, Harold and Leonard, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beaman.
She was born on May 24, 1912. When about eight years of age she became afflicted and had been ill since that time.

On May 24, 1912, there came to brighten the home of Mr. and Mrs. Oral Beaman, a baby girl, Mildred Verlene. About the age of eight she became afflicted, but always bearing her affliction with patience. She was kind and thoughtful of others.
On November 1, 1930, she was called from this life, at the age of eighteen years. She leaves to mourn her departure her father, mother, two brothers, Harold and Leonard, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beaman, and a host of relatives and friends.
