Winterset, IowaBETTY NICHOLS, 13 DIES AT SIOUX CITY
Betty Colleen Nichols, 13-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Nichols of Sioux City, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, at St. Joseph's hospital in Sioux City after a week's illness.
The child was born at Peru on Oct. 21, 1934, and lived most of her life in Madison county.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church at Sioux City, where her funeral services were held Aug. 19. The body was returned to Peru for burial, and services were held Aug. 20 at the Peru Methodist church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Gwendolyn and a brother, Dale.
