Winterset, Iowa9-MONTH-OLD GIRL DIES HERE THURSDAY
Gale Marie Piercy, 9-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Piercy, of Winterset, died last Thursday, June 17, at the home of her parents, in Winterset. Her death followed a brief illness with bronchitis.
The child was born at Ft. Dodge on Aug. 31, 1947. The family had been living in Winterset recently, where Mr. Piercy is employed at the Weems Implement company.
In addition to her parents, the child leaves her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Hill of Dexter and Mr. and Mrs. James Piercy of Adel.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Methodist church at Adel, in charge of the Rev. C. D. Loose. Burial was made in the Waukee cemetery.
