MRS. JANIE LAMB DIES

(St. Charles--Special)

Funeral services were held here Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church for Mrs. Janie Lamb, who died on Monday afternoon at the home of her brother, J. W. McGinnis in Des Moines. Mrs. Lamb was 86 years of age and was one of a family of old pioneers being the daughter of Alec and Margaret McGinnis, who were among the early settlers of Warren county.

Mrs. Lamb taught school for many years before her marriage to Emmet Lamb a number of years ago. She had made her home in St. Charles since her husband's death years ago.

She is survived by two brothers, J. W. of Des Moines, and Emerson McGinnis, and a number of nieces and nephews also some step children.

Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
