MRS. LORENZO MCKEE DIES AT 81 YEARS

Mrs. Lorenzo McKee of Afton died Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Creston hospital, at the age of 81 years.

Mrs. McKee was the former Cynthia Cordelia Wright, daughter of William and Clara Wright. She was born near Macksburg on Feb. 9, 1876. She was married to Lorenzo McKee at Macksburg on Feb. 21, 1897. They were parents of nine children, three dying in infancy.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Reva Austin of Gardin(Garden) Grove, Calif., Mrs. Ethelda Parks of Flagstaff, Ariz., Mrs. Hattie Henry of Thayer; three sons, Gerald McKee of Macksburg, Paul McKee of Omaha, and Orlie McKee of Afton; two brothers, Elwood Wright of Couer d’Alene (Coeur d’Alene), Ida., and Verlin Wright of Bedford; two sisters, Mrs. Lulu Fleming of Fergus Falls, Minn. and Mrs. Garnet Stocker of St. Joseph, Mo.; 30 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from the Methodist church at Macksburg, and burial was made in the Moon cemetery there.
