ERNEST C. WALTERS DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Heart Attack is Fatal to Former Resident at Age of 47 Years

Ernest C. Walters, who moved to California from this community six years ago, died Oct. 11 at National City, Calif., according to word received here last week. Death was due to a heart attack. He was 47 years of age.

Mr. Walters was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Matt Walters of this community. He was born and lived all his life in Madison county until six years ago.

He is survived by his wife, the former Thelma Hogue of Peru; three sons, Vernon and Harold Walters of Los Angeles, and Ronnie Walters of National City; and two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Braden of San Diego, and Betty Walters of Nation City.

Funeral services and burial were made at National City.
