Francis M. Williams, formerly of Madison county died Dec. 12 at Farlin, where he had lived for many years. He was 88 years of age.
Mr. Williams was born in Madison county, Aug. 8, 1859, and his early life was spent here. He was married at Winterset, Sept. 22, 1890 to Cora Anderson of this community. The family moved to Greene county in 1915 and had lived there since.
He is survived by his wife; a son, George Williams of Farlin, and three daughters, Mrs. Leo Leonard of Missouri Valley, and Mrs. Francis McNulty and Lorraine Williams of Jefferson; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial were held at Farlin, Dec. 14.
