HARRY RODMAN DIES SUDDENLY

Winterset Business Man Is Victim of Heart Attack

Harry I. Rodman of Winterset, district superintendent for the Eclipse Lumber company in western Iowa, died suddenly at his home here Thursday, May 27, following a heart attack. He was 55 years of age.

Mr. Rodman had been a resident of Winterset for the last five years and was well known here, having taken an active part in business and community affairs.

He was a native of Monticello, Ia., where he was born June 17, 1892, and where his early life was spent. When he was 20 years of age, he joined the Eclipse organization, at Monticello, and two years later he was appointed manager of the company's yard at Plainfield.

He moved to Winterset in 1943.

He is survived by his wife, of Winterset; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. M. Rodman of Monticello; three sons, Eugene Rodman of Troy, N. Y., Royal Rodman of Chicago, and Mark Rodman of Gaza, Ia.; and one daughter, Mrs. Yola Stead of Collins, Ia.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Goettsch funeral home at Monticello, in charge of the Rev. Mr. Porter, a Methodist minister of that community. Burial was made in the Oakwood cemetery at Monticello.
