MRS. FRED MILLS DIED FEB. 2 AT MASON CITY

Mrs. Fred Mills, a former resident of this community, died Monday, Feb. 2, at Mason City, where she had made her home the last 11 years. She was 74 years of age.

Mrs. Mills was the former Clara Burns, daughter of John and Matilda Burns, and was born June 25, 1873, in Landsdowne, Ontario, Canada.

Her husband and two sons preceded her in death. She leaves a son, Fred Mills of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Anna Gordon; and two brothers, Miller and Albert Burns of Winterset.

Funeral services were held last Wednesday from the Hamilton funeral home and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery with short services at the grave here.
