Death of J. Johnson

Mrs. A. W. Crawford received word Friday of the death of her niece's husband, J. Johnson, at his home in Compton, California. Mrs. Johnson was the former Mrs. Alice Huston, and lived for a number of years, in Winterset. Mr. Johnson who was 65 years of age, had been in poor health for some time, but died at 5 0'clock, Friday morning with a hemorrhage. The body was to be cremated and the ashes were to be buried at St. Francis, Canada, his former home. Mrs. Johnson's daughter, Anna Mae had been with her. Her son Francis resides in San Francisco.
