Cole Bertholf Dies In Los Angeles

Graveside services for Cole Bertholf, 61, of Los Angeles, California a former Madison county resident, who died March 30 at his home of a heart attack, where held in Des Moines, April 4 with burial in Glendale cemetery.

Mr. Bertholf was an employee in the Los Angeles Post office. He was a graduate of east high school of Des Moines and served in the army during World War I.

Surviving are his widow, Leila, two brothers, Davison Bertholf of West Des Moines. Don Bertholf of Harlingen, Texas and a sister, Mrs. Mamie Smith of Winterset.
