MRS. RALPH FRENCH FURIED AT PETERSON

Former Winterset Woman Died at Storm Lake April 24

Mrs. Ralph French of Storm Lake, whose death there April 24 was reported in last week's Madisonian, was a resident of Winterset for much of her life, and taught in the rural schools of Madison county.

Mrs. French was the former Lucille Irene Miner, daughter of Arthur and Lola Miner, and was born March 22, 1914, in Adams county. After living in Ringgold and Taylor counties for about 9 years her parents moved to Winterset. She graduated from high school here with the class of 1932.

She was married to Ralph E. French Dec. 4, 1937. They were the parents of two children, Robert, aged 11, and Shirley, aged 10. Her husband and the two children survive.

Her death followed two and a half years of failing health.

In addition to her husband and children, she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Miner of Winterset, a brother, Woodrow Miner of Winterset, and a sister, Mrs. June Easter of Osceola.

Funeral services were held from the Storm Lake Church of Christ and burial was made at Peterson, Iowa.
