Word was received Thursday of the death of Miss Bertha Wilson of Des Moines. Miss Wilson was the daughter of C. S. Wilson, editor of the Madisonian between 1862 and 1865.
Miss Wilson has been employed at the Des Moines public library for 45 years. Her illness was of short duration and death came Thursday June 30th. Funeral services were held at the Harbach Funeral home, Tuesday July 5th at 10:30 o'clock. The body was taken to Minneapolis for cremation.
Miss Wilson was a cousin of Mrs. Mary Green and Mrs. Phil Wilkinson who drove to Des Moines to attend the funeral service.
