July 20, 1933DEATH OF NOAH TURNER
Word was received here yesterday of the death of Noah Turner early Sunday morning at his home in Fairfield, Illinois. Mr. Turner who was 48 years of age had been here this spring and summer assisting C. O. Rush in the digging of wells. Last Thursday he and Guy Rush left here for Fairfield.
It seems that Mr. Rush and Mr. Turner were in Fairfield last Saturday night. Some one had taken them and two other men to Mr. Turner's brother's Frank Turner's home. They got out of the car and when Mr. Turner stepped from behind the car, another car on the highway hit him. He was taken to a doctor's office in Fairfield, but he died before he could be removed to a hospital. He is survived by his wife and seven children.
