Death of G. C. Howe

G. C. Howe, a former resident of the Ebenezer neighborhood, died Thursday, September 8th, at a Minneapolis hospital. Mr. Howe who was 67 years of age had been ill for several weeks with cancer of the liver.

For forty years he was employed by Swift and Company with headquarters at Spokane, Washington. In January 1931 he was retired however and lived with his family at Minneapolis. He leaves his wife and daughter, Louise and four brothers and a sister: S. C. Howe and J. W. Howe of Truro; J. H. Howe of Des Moines; A. J. Howe of Glenwood and Mrs. J. C. Mease of Peru.

Funeral services were held at Minneapolis Saturday and burial was made in that city.
