MRS. E. B. KELLER DIES AT 92 YEARS

Native of Scotland, Lived in Scott Township Many Years

Mrs. E. B. Keller, a resident of Madison county for many years, died her Friday, Dec. 21, at the age of 92 years.

Mrs. Keller was a native of Scotland. She was the former Clementina E. Dods, daughter of William and Eliza Julia Dods, and was born at Hamilton near Glasgow on May 7, 1864. When she was 15 years old she came to America with her parents. They settled in Virginia later moving to Chicago, where she became associated with the Dwight L. Moody Bible institute in religious work.

On Oct. 25, 1892, she was married to Edward B. Keller of Staunton, Va. They came to Madison county to make their home. With the exception of two years in Virginia their married life was spent in Madison county. The last 38 years of her life was spent on a farm four miles southeast of Winterset.

Mr. Keller preceded her in death in 1941. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Kellogg of Winterset and Mrs. Gertrude Powell, with whom she had made her home the last few years. She also leaves five grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Anderson funeral home in Winterset. Burial was made in Union Chapel cemetery.
